Please bring a side dish, dessert or snack.  JETAA will provide the main dishes for meat lovers and vegetarians alike.

Shokoukai Softball Tournament

Come Play Ball with the Consulate!

The Consulate General of Japan in Portland is looking for 5 volunteers to join the office team at this year’s Shokookai (Japanese Chamber of Commerce) annual softball tournament on July 11th, 2010.

WHEN: Friday, July 9th, 7-9:30 p.m.

WHERE: Hawthorne Lucky Lab (915 SE Hawthorne Blvd)

NIJIKAI: 10:00 pm – ?? at Hollywood Bowl (4030NE Halsey St)

We’ve been having record numbers these days, so come on down and make some new friends–in Japanese. Whether you are pera pera or your Nihongo knowledge is sukoshi dake, all are welcome.
