MIM at PSU
Masters in International Management at Portland State University. The MIM program provides you with international business as well as general business skills, proficiency in a foreign language and the understanding of political and economic environments in which global business leaders work.
MBA at Willamette University
Willamette University’s MBA programs are specifically designed to prepare students for their first professional career position, career change or advancement. Opportunities to take Japanese language courses, as well as special scholarship consideration for JET alumni are available to students who are admitted and enroll in Willamette’s Early Career or MBA for Career Change programs.

Japanese Government Graduate Study Scholarships
Various scholarships for graduate and undergraduate study in Japan. Applications available through the Portland Consulate-General of Japan. Questions concerning this scholarship should be directed to Matt Turner at (503) 221-1811.
Rotary International Scholarships
An international service organization which offers a wide range of scholarships from month-long professional exchanges, teacher exchanges, 6 month language study programs, and 1-2 year ambassadorial scholarships to go for a master’s degree at a foreign university.
Fulbright Grants
For graduate research and teaching abroad.

The Portland Chapter of JETAA (The JET Program Alumni Association) was created to serve the bonds of friendship developed by the program participants. JETAA’s purpose is to achieve, through its activities, a broader and deeper understanding between Japan and the other countries participating in the program.
