Natsu Matsuri 2011 – Goal to Raise Funds for Japan

The exciting Natsu Matsuri 2011 (Summer Festival 2011) is a non-commercial, family-friendly traditional Japanese summer festival centered on Japanese culture.
Seven Virtues Fundraiser – May 12th
On Thursday May 12th from 6pm to 9pm Seven Virtues, in care of Mercy Corps, will hold an event with live music, drinks, lite fare, and a silent auction.
Wine for Japan Event – May 13th
An exclusive wine themed fund-raising event to provide relief for Japan. Eight outstanding wine makers will be on hand pouring their wines. The Portland Chapter of JETAA (The JET Program Alumni Association) was created to serve the bonds of friendship developed by the program participants. JETAA’s purpose is to achieve, through its activities, a broader and deeper understanding between Japan and the other countries participating in the program.
