JETAA Portland is hosting a Technology Regional Conference

It is with great pleasure that JETAA Portland will host a regional conference in downtown Portland from January 29-31, 2010. The venue will be the Mark Spencer Hotel. Here’s a link to the site: http://regionalconference.jetaaportland.com

The theme for the conference is “Technology and Implementation.” The goal is to have a working conference, where great minds can discuss technology and create actionable results to benefit all chapters all over the world. With very high levels of interest, it has essentially turned into a mini international conference, with ten chapters attending from as far away as Alberta and Texas.

Due to the expanded delegate participation, we are looking for JETAA members to help out throughout the weekend. Areas we will need help with include (but aren’t limited to!):

* Delegate transportation to Friday and Saturday evening receptions
* Note-taking during the conference sessions
* Tweeting from the conference sessions
* Join the hospitality committee to help out throughout the weekend
* We are also looking for donations to raffle as Shinnenkai prizes (see below for details)

If you are interested, please contact Bob or Beth Schnyder at: regionalconference@jetaaportland.com

Shinnenkai 2009 At Portland City Grill

We are combining our yearly Shinnenkai with the Saturday evening regional conference reception hosted by CLAIR. It will be held at the Portland City Grill. Save to date now because you don’t want to miss the opportunity to mingle with JETAA members from the US and Canada.
Donations & Prizes

We are looking for donations for the Shinnekai and the regional conference. Some suggested donations for the regional conference are things locally owned that would show off Portland, reusable tote bags, notebooks, pens, etc. For the Shinnenkai, some suggestions are gift certificates, tickets to local events, free memberships, etc. Sponsors will receive free advertising on the JETAA website and newsletter, and promotion at the regional conference.

If you or your company have items that you feel would be great to donate, please contact Bob or Beth Schnyder at: regionalconference@jetaaportland.com
