Get Your Nihongo On — Come to J-Kaiwa!!!
Our monthly J-Kaiwa gathering will kick off at 7 p.m. with beer and Nihongo at the Lucky Lab and, for those who are interested, we will head over to the Bush Garden lounge about 9 p.m. for an official nijikai with karaoke! Whether you are pera pera or your Nihongo knowledge is sukoshi dake, all are welcome.

WHEN: Friday, May 1st, 2009, 7-9+ pm (Karaoke nijikai from 9pm!!)
WHERE:
7-9 pm: Hawthorne Lucky Lab Brewpub, 915 SE Hawthorne Blvd.
9pm -??: Bush Garden Lounge, 900 SW Morrison St
WHO: JETAA members, JET Programme Returnees, Japanese friends and J-Kaiwa speakers of all levels.
WHY: To see some old friends, make some new ones and maintain that connection to Japan
COST: There’s no cost to join! You are responsible for your own drinks and food but your friendly Kaichos may buy a pitcher or two to get the party started.
