Hello JET Alumini! The Consulate-General of Japan in Portland is about to launch its annual fall recruiting drive for the JET Program. Over the next few weeks we will be visiting local colleges and universities to try to gather up a fresh new crop of future JET participants. We would love your help in spreading the word about JET by offering your experiences and impressions to next year’s prospective ALTs and CIRs. If you are interested in helping out, please check out the accompanying schedule.

JETAA Portland brings you the 4th Annual JETAA Halloween Bash. The event kicks off at 7:30 at the home of J-Kaiwa Master Scott Klein, where all shall partake in snacks and beverages. Although JETAA doesn't discriminate against the un-festive, costumed guests will officially be considered more cool, and fantastic prizes will be awarded to best Japan-themed and best general costume. Please BYOB to this portion of the night.
Next we head next door to the Kennedy School (don't worry, it's a bar) for some after hours fun. Please RSVP to
