JETAA Portland's 6th Annual Iron Chef Competition
It's time to sharpen those knives and dig up your best recipes as contestants, judges, and other hungry mouths gather for one of our most popular (and delicious) events of the year! All contestants will receive a small prize, but the biggest prizes will be awarded for the following: Best Appetizer, Best Entrée, and Best Dessert. Variations on traditional Japanese dishes are encouraged, but all creations (as long as they're tasty) will be considered.
To be eligible for a prize, you must bring the recipe used in the preparation of your dish (no Trader Joe's imposters!). Soon, we'll be compiling an official JETAA Portland Cookbook. After all, what organization would be complete without a cookbook? Don't have the competitive streak? Come along anyway with a small snack to share.
When: Saturday, May 10, 6-8pm
Where: Demaree Reveaux's House:
9801 SE Stephens Rd.
Portland, OR 97216
RSVP for directions to Jarod Bishop: president@jetaaportland.com
**Please respond by May 7 and include what you plan to bring.
Drinks will be provided, but if you'd like anything particular feel free to bring it along. Please call or email Jarod with any questions 503-412-8873.
See you there!
