Date: Saturday, October 24, 2009
The Halloween party is attended by JETAA members and J-Kaiwa friends and members of the Japanese community. It is an opportunity to introduce a traditional American holiday to Japanese members of the community by dressing in costumes. A costume contest is held with prizes awarded for Best Japanese Themed Costume and Best Overall Costume.

* WHAT TO BRING? *
A scary costume and your scariest family & friends (all ages welcome). We’ll have snacks, but bring your favorite beverage.
* COSTUME CONTEST *
We will once again have our costume contest with great prizes in the following categories:
- Best Costume
- Best Japan-related Costume
