We are excited to announce our annual Career Panel!

Get real-life advice and information on your job search, networking techniques, continuing education, and maybe even make the connection that lands you your next job.

We have an exciting lineup of presenters, including a Graduate Education Communications Coordinator; the Director of the Career Transitions Program of a local nonprofit; and a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist and expert networker.

After the informational presentations we will gather for an hour of networking with local businesspeople to learn about different industries and opportunities in Portland.  If you haven’t experienced professional networking yet, not to worry!  One of the presentations will focus on just that, so you can start applying your new knowledge immediately.  This will be a wonderful chance to reach many new contacts, and we expect that you will leave with a long to-do list of new contacts to make!

Win one of two copies of the networking bible, Never Eat Alone, by Keith Farrazzo, in our business card raffle!  If you don’t have a business card, now is the time to go to Vistaprint and order—their free service takes 21 days and will arrive in time for the Panel.  Only business cards will be accepted for the raffle, so get started now!

When: Thursday November 12, 7-9:30 p.m.

Where: Portland State University, Smith Hall room 296.  (PSU map here)
