UPDATE on Portland JET Participants Affected by the Japan Earthquake

By President

As of Monday, March 14th, the JET Program and CLAIR can report that nearly all JET Program participants who departed for Japan from Portland have been contacted and have been determined to be safe. Though there are still a few people that have not responded to attempts to reach them, they are all located in areas far from the disaster. All Portland JETs living in the Tohoku Region, Chiba, Ibaraki and Tokyo have been accounted for. We are thankful for their safety and continue to pray for the many thousands affected by this disaster.
