SHINNENKAI! Join us as we celebrate the Year of the Rooster with Japanese and American friends! JASO is having its annual traditional Japanese New Year’s celebration on Thursday, January 19th, 2017 . This year’s event will feature a delicious Japanese menu provided by Syun Izakaya and Koji Osakaya, beer and sake, traditional music, fukubukuro gift bags, kimono, and more!

TUNES OF JAPAN! JETAA Portland will be combining our annual Tunes of Japan music event with JASO’s 2017 Shinnenkai. Guests can enjoy a shamisen performance by Mitch Imori, a koto performance by Mitsuki Dazai, and a performance by Takohachi Taiko. Don’t miss this special chance to celebrate the new year with music, food, and friends. あけおめ、みんなさん!
