The Los Angeles Career Forum features companies from various industries seeking individuals with some degree of both Japanese and English language abilities to join their global or domestic teams. Interviews occur onsite, and offers of employment or internship are often made by the end of the event.

When: October 7th (Fri.) & 8th (Sat.), 2016

Where: Pasadena Convention Center (300 East Green Street, Pasadena, CA 91101)

Event Schedule

October 7th (Fri.) & 8th (Sat.)

10:00am:  Registration starts
11:00am:  Seminars begin
5:00pm:  Registration closes
6:00pm:  Booths close
7:00pm:  Interview Rooms close

Event Qualifications

A minimum of conversational ability in both Japanese and English and one of the following:

  • Student recently graduated from or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program outside of Japan or with at least one year of study outside of Japan
  • Professional with work or study experience outside of Japan

*Important! Professional attire is required. Casual attire such as jeans, t-shirts, and sneakers are not permitted at the event.

The Portland Chapter of JETAA (The JET Program Alumni Association) was created to serve the bonds of friendship developed by the program participants.
