New JETAA Portland Career Event: Ronin Club

By admin

This gathering is for JETAA Portland members who are seeking to find or switch jobs. Named after stipend-less, masterless samurai, the Ronin Club is an informal opportunity for JETAA members to ask each other about job search tips, share networking ideas, or just swap career horror stories. Held in a relaxed environment (local pubs), the Ronin Club has no agenda by design — the only rule is that anyone with job search questions or concerns be heard out, and that suggestions be offered in return. Gatherings will be held quarterly.

When: Wednesday, April 13, 2011, 6:00 PM

Where: Deschutes Brewery & Public House (210 NW 11th Avenue, Portland, OR 97209)

What to bring: During the kick-off Ronin Club gathering, let’s talk about resumes — if you’re looking for resume-writing help from your fellow JETs, please bring a copy.
