Volunteers Needed

The Consulate-General of Japan in Portland is now looking for volunteers for the 21st annual Origami Workshop. We need people who will be able to teach children and their families how to fold origami. Volunteers will be provided materials by the Japanese Consulate in advance, and are requested to master how to instruct the origami that will be taught at the workshop. It is a good way to experience the Japanese art of paper folding, and have a great time while teaching others!

If you are a high school student or older and able to teach Origami as a volunteer, please contact (503) 221-1811 ext. 15, or send an e-mail to nalipio@cgjpdx.org. We will close the application process as soon as we get enough volunteers for the event.
