Volunteers Needed at Japanese Garden – July 9th

By admin

The Portland Japanese Garden needs 3 volunteers with origami experience to help children make origami ornaments for their Tanabata Festival on July 9th from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Once the ornaments are made, the volunteers help the children hang them on pieces of bamboo.  They’re also looking for one volunteer to help brew and serve a traditional barley tea.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact Katie no later than June 26th.
