Miso Magic + Tofu Tricks =  A Fun Cultural Experience

You are probably aware that tofu has been an essential part of Japanese cuisine for several hundred years but did you know that it can also be prepared in over 100 different ways?!?      Tofu – a wonderfully versatile meat substitute – can be boiled, baked, grilled, fried, broiled, marinated or pureed. And it’s also an easy-to-digest protein or B vitamin and calcium supplement to your diet.

PSSCA Volunteers Needed

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Portland-Sapporo Sister City Association (PSSCA). In honor of this special event, a delegation of 200 people from Sapporo will come to Portland in honor of the celebration from June 5-9, 2009. Below is the schedule and the volunteers needed.
