JETAA Career Panel 2016

The hiring season is right around the corner and the 2016 JETAA Career Panel will help you map out a game plan to get to that final interview as well as prepare to be at your best when that call or email arrives.  Whether you just returned from Japan or you are exploring the possibility of a change careers, your fellow JET Alumni want to help you with your job search.

Some job opening receive 250 resumes on average. Online job boards like Monster and Indeed receive over 400,000 resumes a week. We recognize that finding a new job is stressful and exhausting. If you want to stand out and cut through that competition, you’ll need help.

  • How to transition to your next job

  • Options for continuing to teach

  • How to leverage your JET experience

  • How to expand your professional network

There will be two guest speakers and several JET Alumni to help navigate all your questions on your career search. We will also have a NETWORKING NIJIKAI immediately after so you can test out your newfound knowledge. We look forward to seeing you there!
