Origami Workshop sponsored by the Consulate

Where: Two World Trade Center (121 SW Salmon St., Portland, OR.), Mezzanine Level

Cost: Free and open to the public, no reservations necessary

The Consulate-General of Japan in Portland is pleased to announce its 22nd Annual Origami Workshop and hopes that this will be a good opportunity for the public to become more familiar with Origami, the Japanese art of paper folding.  Volunteers from the local community will teach participants Origami, including how to fold cranes. All origami materials will be provided.  Everyone is welcome to participate in the workshop.

The Portland Chapter of JETAA (The JET Program Alumni Association) was created to serve the bonds of friendship developed by the program participants. JETAA’s purpose is to achieve, through its activities, a broader and deeper understanding between Japan and the other countries participating in the program.
