By treasurer

Interested in taking the Japanese Language Proficiency Test this year? Or just looking for a group to study advanced Japanese with? Join our JLPT Japanese lessons!

This class is open to anyone who wants to study advanced Japanese. Studies will mostly focus on levels N1, N2, or N3 of the Japanese Language Proficiency test, and will include grammar, vocabulary, kanji, reading, listening, and speaking. Not sure what the levels mean, or which level is right for you? Take a practice exam here.

Classes will be held every Tuesday for 16 weeks with a native Japanese language teacher.

Not interested in taking the test, or not sure if you can make it to every class? No problem! These classes are casual and the curriculum is flexible. Drop in when you can (just let us know when you’re coming). We hope you’ll come study with us!

When: Tuesdays, 6pm – 8pm, from August 13th – November 26th.

Where: Beaverton, OR (address will be mailed to attendees upon RSVPing)

Cost: Free!

RSVP: Let us know if you’ll be joining us! Please contact treasurer@jetaaportland.com to join our class, or if you have any questions. And please let us know what level of Japanese you would like to study, even if you don’t plan on taking the JLPT!

What to bring: Study materials such as paper, pens or pencils, a Japanese dictionary or an electronic dictionary, and your favorite Japanese textbook(s). If you have other study materials you like to use, such as flash cards, we encourage you to bring those, too!
